Thyroid Update!

As those of you know who have read the previous blog posts, last year I experienced going from an under active thyroid (of more than 15 years) to a very over active thyroid and treated it with a tincture from an old Russian remedy! It was quite the experiment and it worked to normalize my thyroid, which was verified when I had the blood work repeated several months later. But would it last? I didn’t know!

I just recently had my annual check up and was pleasantly surprised to see that my thyroid level was still in the normal range after over a year from the last check!

Even though the doctor was pleased, I’m going to repeat the Russian tincture remedy again in January – the tincture is “curing” for three weeks now in my fridge! The reason I am doing this is simply to be proactive! It’s cheap and easy to prepare, and even though it has stayed in the normal range for over a year, I don’t want it to slowly go back down to the below normal as it was for many years prior. (It’s really nice to not need any prescription medications!)

I have no explanation for the whys or hows regarding why my thyroid went bonkers last year and how this remedy worked to stabilize it, but I am very happy it works and wanted to pass it on to my readers! When we can find something that is beneficial, not harmful in any way, and inexpensive too – it makes no sense to not try it when needed! If your thyroid is either over active or under active, this will help! The recipe is explained in the blog post entitled, “Amazing Thyroid Protocol!”.

I hope all of you have a lovely holiday, free of sickness and stress and full of faith, family and friends!

I will make a real effort to post more in the near future, especially about some wonderful food and exercise ideas!
